May Peace Be With You.

 

The proceeding is an organisational plan for an emerging intentional community referred to as this InterFaith Settlement.  The primary purpose of this InterFaith Settlement is to maintain an immediate and pragmatic environment where respective adherents of the distinct religious traditions of the World, including Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism, Christianity, and Islam, can live together, work together, and prosper together in a manner that is mutually reliant and mutually amicable.  It may be considered that within this global community of Earth, this InterFaith Settlement already exists.  The consideration is how our respective communities can acknowledge and realise this Truth.

 

Within the material of this organisational plan, there are a number of photographs that have been provided by other organisations directly or implicitly involved within the InterFaith Movement, generally, and/or the efforts to establish this InterFaith Settlement, specifically.  Direct permission to utilise these photographs has yet to be solicited or secured.  The advent of the internet provides new considerations for establishing a proper context for sharing.

 

Careful deliberation has been made in deciding to include the photographs within this material.  There is the obvious benefit for this InterFaith Settlement to include the photographs because photographs help people to visualise the actualisation of what is being described.  Yet, there is a further and direct intention in including these photographs.  Each of the organisations whose photographs are included is intrinsically involved in the comprehensive efforts of enhancing Peace and comfort throughout the World.  The photographs include people from around the Earth and from different walks of life.  There is a certain, subtle meaning within the aggregate of these photographs because the aggregate of these photographs is exactly what is intended within the culmination of this InterFaith Settlement.

 

There is also the consideration that each of these photographs can be basically accessed by anyone who is browsing through the internet by utilising a computer within a public library or comparable facility.  In this sense, rather than simply a promotion of this InterFaith Settlement, these photographs are also included as an introduction and promotion of the respective organisations.  The photographs are an invitation for you to consider the respective activities and accomplishments of these organisations;  because, indeed, it is these activities and accomplishments from which this InterFaith Settlement is derived.
