Comment: These ubiquitous pens are how many people discover fountain pen use in the first place. Appearing at major Office Supply stores as well as many specialty shops, this is the ideal entry-level pen. Writes well, has some flair, is comfortable in the hand. Not really excited by its appearance, but function is good. For about $40 you can get a kit that includes ink, a convertor (an insertable smaller vacuum-filling apparatus) and a couple calligraphic nibs.
