Thankfully, the amount of people diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer each year is slowly decreasing. It is believed that this is because the amount of smokers has also been decreasing. Based on estimates, around 32, 180 United States citizens will be newly diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer this year. Based on studies, a sad 31,800 U.S. citizens will be killed this year by this disease. If this estimation comes true, Pancreatic cancer will be the fourth most fatal type of cancer.
