Our First Show
It all happened so fast. It was Halloween, 2003 when it happened. This is how the night went about.
Well, first, we had no intention to play at Aaron Matys' party that night. We just expected to go, make fun of
Annix, our rival band, and eat all their food. Well, we did that, but then people found out we were there. Steve Gourley,
our number one fan, begged us to play later on during the night. Clark and I thought about it, and decided "Sure, why not?"
Annix finished playing, and many of the people went back to the dance floor. Little did they know that later their lives
would be forever changed by the music of eXit only. While they danced, we set up, and decided we needed a third.
We needed something- someone- to make up for our loss of Beaty. Chad Kackert was the right man for the job.
We set up Kackert's drum set, which consisted of a snare and a symbol. We were not even nervous when we
played our first song ever: Abercrombie & Shutup. I'm sure SHUTUP SHUTUP could be heard throughout
the neighboorhood that night. We gained a lot of fans that night, believe you me.
