Season Fourteen

Bodies

Arthur: You sure he isn't lying?
Jack: I saw his lawyer's face.
Arthur: Yeah, who is that stupid SOB anyway?

What's dumber than stupid?

I thought all true believers went the way of vinyl records.

What career? He works for Legal Aid, for crying out loud.

I'm going to go home and get out my vinyl records.

Bounty

It's like being kicked by a mule. ,

Thank you, Sandra Day, for deciding not to decide.

Patient Zero

In the grand scheme of things, a wife's testimony doesn't amount to a hill of grits.

I've been around for six decades. I've never committed a felony. Still, I wouldnt' want my wife cross-examined on the record.

Shrunk

Arthur: The old check and raise. She sets you up with a jab and knocks you out with the cross.
Jack: Let's see just how many metaphors we can mix.
Arthur: Well, I've got a ton of them, and if this Myers guy walks, you're going to hear each and every one of them.

Blaze

Arthur: Is this SOB guilty?
Jack: Yes.
Arthur: Can you prove it?
Jack: I think so.
Arthur: Then my advice -- get a new suit and enjoy.

Identity

I guess that's the benefit of getting old that no one ever tells you about. A life sentence is that much less painful.

I got a call from my granddaughter last week. She said, "Grandpa, I think you're getting too old to drive." I said, "Really sweetie? You think I ought to pack in the old Chevy?" She said, "No, the Chevy's OK. It's the Porsche I'm worried about." Sweet thing gets her driver's license next week.

Jack: That flies in the face of centuries of jurisprudence.
Arthur: So does living past 80.

Floater

(to Serena) What? You've never gone quail hunting with a bird dog?

Embedded

This yo-you is going to ruin our case.

Compassion

I think what Serena is saying is that banging her head against the futility of dying children every day for years may have knocked a few screws loose.
