The U.S. Naval Sea Cadets
The Sea Cadet Corps is a youth program for young Americans. The Sea Cadet Corps is divided into two parts the Sea Cadets for ages 14 to 17 years old, and the Navy League for ages 10 to 13.
DRILLS
The Fitzgerald Division Drills on the second weekend of the month and the following Wednesday. Weekend drills start at 0730 (7:30am) and end at 1600 (4:00pm). Weekday drills start at 1745 (5:45pm) and ends at 1930 (7:30pm). Drills are held at the Naval and Marine Corps Reserve Center, Albuquerque.
ENROLLMENT FEES:
Enrollment fees are set at $150.00. Annual re-enrollment fees are established at $100.00 which include Sea Cadet Group Accident Plan; initial Navy Uniforms (except shoes) etc.

Fitzgerald Division
In existence here in New Mexico since 1962 the Fitzgerald Division is made up of young men and women ages 10 to 17. The Secretary of the Navy, Chief of Naval Operations, and the US Navy League directly sponsor the program. The Naval Sea Cadets are not an ROTC unit but an independent in nature working directly with active duty and reserve Navy, Coast Guard, and Marine Corps units both here in New Mexico and nationwide. Cadets also participate in international exchange programs with Sea Cadet units worldwide including Great Britain, Canada, and the Netherlands. 
The Cadets of the Fitzgerald Division routinely participate in numerous activities including:
Basic Training (boot Camp)
Petty Officer Leadership Academy
Assignments to Ships and squadrons
During the past year our Cadets have been directly involved in numerous operations and evolutions including:
Aviation Training at Naval Air Station North Island, CA
Sea Duty aboard the USS. Denver LPD-6 during amphibious operations off the coast of CA.
Seamanship Training Naval Air Station San Diego, CA
Basic Training at Fort Huachuca, AZ. And at the US Air Force Academy Colorado Springs, CO
And Leadership Academy at Fort Sam Houston, TX.

Our Goal.
Our program&#8217;s main goal is to provide an avenue for our cadets to acquire leadership skills, sense of community, pride in oneself and their shipmates, integrity, and confidence. Cadets actively participate in rate training programs in over 80 career fields including:
Administration and Computers
Healthcare
Law Enforcement
Aviation
To name a few.
Our Officer&#8217;s.  Our Officers are active duty, reserve and retired service members from all branches of service, as well as officer with no military background but a desire to make a difference.
There are more than ONE THOUSAND AND ONE ways to serve American youth through your support of the Naval Sea Cadet Corps (NSCC), a federally chartered non-profit youth training organization.
The NSCC serves youth by building in every cadet a sense of patriotism, courage, self-reliance, confidence, leadership and the qualities which mold good character and citizenship while providing instruction and practical experience in the prestige of a military career, thus boosting the quality of our nations manpower.
