Mida’s touch
Could turn anything gold
But once he changed too much
It surely got vastly old.

Leonardo,
Could paint a masterpiece,
And capture a smile so,
But that was all, to say the least,

Houdini’s magic,
Could stun crowds as he escaped,
Any bolt broken, any lock he could pick,
But it was always under blankets draped,

All these people
Had something special to give
And for you
I have my whole life to live.
