November 10, 2001: We are dating! We stood in the parking lot of the Murat Shrine waiting for the rest of our group to come out of tthe Shrine Youth Dance so we can leave. It was a cold night, but it just gave us more of a reason to stand closer together. I looked up at him, and while looking into my eyes, he asked me "What do you think of us dating?" Was he really asking me out that way? I said if that is what he wanted, and the rest is history.
July 3, 2003: Today we took a big step in our relationship. We went ring shopping at Andrew's Jewerlers.We both now have our heart set on one. My dream is getting closer.
November 10, 2005: We are ENGAGED!!! For our 4 year Anniversary, Tom took me to "The Old Spaghetti Facotry" for dinner. Chicken and pasta are my favorite foods, so it was great. We sat in these green high back chairs, and I felt like a queen. After dinner we drove to the Murat Shrine. He asked me to get out to reflect on the last 4 years. We stood in the same sopt he asked me out in. After several minutes of talking, kissing, laughing and hugging, he thought it would be best to leave, since it was cold. Before we walked away, he pulled out this green box and asked me to spend the rest of my life with him. How could I say no? WHY WOULD I? Of course I said yes. It was great and nothing I thought he would do. How sweet is he? It has been a long road, but we are both looking forward to the many years ahead of us.
We have finally set a date. i can't wait for my dreams to all come true! |
