HISTORY
< ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------->
This is the history of Croydons most fucked up Band...Inspite of Faith.
We've been through all the shit under the sun to make this work so its gonna go far and we're gonna light a fire up under all of the blind followers of ass.

The band started out as Defect with Sasha on vocals, Rooney playing guitar and Amy McLaughlin as the bassist. Amy wasn't into the bands style which was built upon the Murderdolls/Frankenstein Drag Queens and she rarely played during practise, leaving Sasha to handle the bass.
Anthony joined behind the kit and the band was beginning to become whole. Pamela joined as the second guitarist, but upon entering rehearsal room two in scream, Pamela took the mic and Defect had a voice. Amy left the band but this was no problem as Sasha was the instant replacement.
Defect was then renamed Stricken outside the Brixton Academy by Ant, with Pamela(vocals)and Sasha(bass) when along with Ant (now with eXile)and Rooney  We started off wanting it all to come to us, sucess and all of that shit... little did we know how we had to do the searching for almost 2 years.

Stricken split cause to tell the truth we were not going anywhere and Ant went off with eXile.

When Exile temporarily split, Ant came back to Sasha who joined back up with Pamela to reform as Inspite of Fate. Ant eventually decided that Exile was where he belonged and Sasha and Pamela were on their own again.
Then they tried out Pat Mckinnonbell for lead guitar, but he failed to show to practise as he was entertaining a female friend at the time, which in my eyes is understandable. (Sasha)

A few months later I was talking to Sasha and Inspite of Faith was formed.  Along with my long time friend Matt (drummer) and the person no one knew untill practice at scream, Tom (guitar, nicknamed Curly sue cause of his sexy hair!).  We got to the studio with high hopes and came out with the first song we had ever played...Marilyn Manson's coma white.  We played about with the song to make it ours and everything looked fucking great for us.

About two months later, Sasha tells us he is leaving to join eXile because he wants to play thrash metal and they have been signed to a record company!!! bullshit!!!
At the time i was in a bad state with everything mainly drugs, my preferred choice was White Widow then. (Sasha)
Anyway eXile and Sasha aparently didn't go, so back he came, like i knew he would.
I returned to I.O.F as i felt i was unfair in my judgement (Sasha)

This was a rude awakening to the band, we took it as a sign and got off our ass' and get down to working on the band.

We now have a pretty sick selection of songs to play...and theres no hard feelings against Sasha for going to eXile for a day...

Finally things are going our way, a gig on 12th june at matts garage, 24th june at the cartoon in croydon, along with eXile and Bad Sign and headlining at Wallington sports and social club being supported by eXile and 7th Floor!!

Things are looking bright motherfuckers, and no one said it was gonna be easy...
Pam (Vocals)

You may think we are to engrossed in ourselves but ask anyone who knows us, our showmanship surpasses many bands on the circuit and our ballsacks have bleed from overworking to achieve our dream, you know we're gonna be in your cd rack.
