Bryan made Claire happier
than she had been in weeks just by being
with her. He had arranged for her to be his personal Disney tour guide
for 3 days and he was her most unconventional guest ever. He made her
go on all the rides with him and she made him do attractions he
wouldn't normally dream of doing. It was highly unusual for
celebrities like himself to go out in the queues but he did to meet
fans and the characters. Claire had trouble figuring out who was more
animated: Tigger or Bryan? At nights they sat at her house talking and
laughing, but said little about Shane."I've told you, he has to
contact me Bry. I can't change how I feel about religion and neither
can he. Shane has to take me as I am or not at all". Bryan swore he'd
never met two more stubborn people in his life. The weather was
extremely warm for late September and it was particularly oppressive
for Bryan. After the third day he was ready to snap, "I'm broiling,
it's after 9pm and it's still 88 degrees! Let's take a swim" he said
from the spare bedroom."It looks like there's going to be a major
storm, if we make it quick..." Claire said trailing off. "You are suck
a worrier, we'll have a quick swim then head out for a club. A couple
of beers and we won't care if it's storming". Claire put on her suit,
it was refreshing after the heat of the day. She started swimming laps
and Bryan swam in unison, turning it into a friendly competition. They
both picked up speed, not wanting the other to edge them out."Last
lap!" Bryan shouted as they headed for the deeper end of the pool.
Claire had a clear lead when Bryan yanked her ankle and went flying
ahead, beating her by an arm length. "You cheater! Can't win fair and
square so you have to play dirty, huh?" she said pushing him lightly
on the chest. He pulled her up to him by her waist,"So I've been
told". The vibe instantly changed when they realized just how close
they were, a shiver running down her spine at his nearness. Tracing a
trail down her face he slowly ran his finger around her lips, his
touch soft but insistant. "I can't help it, I've always wanted to do
this" he said as his mouth claimed hers in a passionate kiss, opening
for him willingly.
