Kian took Tonya's hand and led her to a small park overlooking the Thames,
the lights of London shimmering on the water below. "Are we safe here? Who
knows what could be lurking about." Tonya said shivering in the cool air. "There is security all around the building tonight, no one will bother
us. Besides, I won't ever let anyone harm you. Your safety is my first priority
Mil'ady." Just hearing those words set her at ease and she knew he was
serious. She pressed against him as he wrapped his jacket around her, "Please
don't let me wake up if I'm dreaming". Kian's chuckle let her know she had
spoken that aloud, and she grinned at him sheepishly. "Kian, is there...
someone waiting for you back home?" He sighed softly and leaned against the railing, "No there isn't. I wish
I had someone to be there for me like the others have. Without sounding like a
prat I could have a different girl everyday but I want something more than just
sex. I need to feel completed." A deep loneliness overcame him and he
closed his eyes, all the money in the world couldn't buy him that. Without a
word Tonya wrapped her arms around him and put her head on his shoulder, letting
him know she understood. Tipping her chin up he noticed tears slowly trickle
from her azure eyes, she felt it too. That undefinable knowledge that she had
the same need and was reaching out to him. "It'll be alright" he said
gently kissing her, heat flowing through them. Not wanting to rush her he ran
his tongue along her lips and was pleasantly surprised when she opened for him,
inviting him in. There was no denying that they had wanted this from the moment
they saw each other. "Hey T, where are ...oops! We're so sorry." Megan and Caz said
breaking the moment. Tonya reluctantly stepped away from Kian, hating to break
the spell that seemed to envelope them. "We should head home, it's been
quite an exciting day." "When will I see you again? I really want to finish our
conversation." Kian said huskily, his meaning perfectly clear. "We have theatre tickets but we'll be at your show the next night."
Kian kissed her tenderly and walked them to a taxi, knowing it would be worth
the wait. He was gone again.
Tonya had a strange, vivid dream that night. She was running through the
darkness frightened but knew if she got to her destination she'd be safe. A
feeling of peace filled her with hope and then she saw him reaching out to her,
blue eyes warm and comforting. Their fingertips were just about to touch when he
disappeared. "John, save me" she said to the blackness.
