The music was pumping, the lights flashing to the beat and energy high with the dancers. Everybody was present, the couples, the singles, the heartbreakers and the healers. Bryan and Erica stood in the corner in deep conversation going over the last months apart. Dan sat watching the woman he loved with the man who stood between them, knowing that tonight had to be the night. It was better to know and be rejected then to never know and live life wondering. Mark and Megan danced on the floor, close together, getting lost in what needed to be said, trying to ignore the true feelings. Erik stood outside the club; dejected in the fact that Ann had already left the club with Kian. Ashley joined him, the two quiet in their misery of being alone. Nicky continued asking for forgiveness, doing what ever he could to win the love of Caz who watched the blue of eyes of Ritchie enter the club with Scott close behind him. J entered the club, quickly seeking out his blue-eyed beauty that stole his heart. Kimber sat with Sherry, her heart quickly beating in the sight of J as Sherry watched Bryan and Erica, missing her Nick. Jacob stood close to Chrissy, taking in her eyes and hanging on every word she spoke. Shane and Tonya openly showed their affection, planning the next 100 years together. And finally Anya and Ronan were nowhere to be found, perhaps getting to know each other in the room they shared.
Candace entered the club; she spied the festivities, seeing the excitement in the air. It was a good night, her club buzzed with the right people and Jude would soon be home. Yes, that�s right, Candace Law wife to Jude Law and owner of �Trax�, the hottest club at Pleasure Island. Did I forget anyone? I hope not�so let�s see what this night of dancing, drinking and decisions will lead to�bear with me�read carefully and remember�it is never what it seems.�
***Bryan and Erica***�What do you mean you aren�t ready to get married?� Bryan asked looking at Erica in disbelief.
�I just don�t think I am ready, I wanted to tell you before we��
�Erica, you haven�t given me a chance. I had it all planned with a helicopter, fireworks��
�Bryan, no matter how you ask me, the answer would be no.� Erica sipped her drink trying not to make eye contact with Dan.
�Tel me why? Do you love me?� Bryan asked seeing Sherry in the corner of his eye.
�Yes, I do. But the timing��
�Timing? Honey, we can move things, rearrange schedules.� Bryan pleaded watching Sherry talking to Scott and Ritchie, jealousy coming to him.
�It�s more then timing. I just don�t know��
�Excuse me. I was wondering if I may have a moment with Erica.� Dan said tapping Bryan on the shoulder.
�Look, we were talking��
�We need a break.� Erica said. �You need to think about what I just said.� She squeezed his hand stood up and walked away with Dan. Bryan watched them until they were out of view. This was not going the way that he had planned, he was supposed to sweep Erica off her feet, and they were supposed to be happy and live forever. Bryan saw the sweet smile of Sherry, taking in the warmth. His heart found peace in that smile, just as it had done so many times before. Their eyes locked, Sherry seeing the hurt trying to be the strong one.

There is love there but not for Bryan.� Dan said not taking a breath. �You can�t deny it anymore, if you did it would be cheating your heart. You need to admit it and��
�You need to shut up and kiss me.� Erica said shocked in her own words. Dan didn�t hesitate but took her in his arms and kissed her lips. No resistance just simple pleasure in the kiss.
�*****�Can I have this dance?� Bryan asked shyly, Sherry smiled in the gesture.
�Why of course.� Sherry said as Bryan led her to the dance floor. The fast song quickly ended, Bryan and Sherry standing in the song change as if it was fate, the slow music began as Bryan took Sherry�s hand. She sweetly put her arm around his neck, Bryan moved in close to her. The two swayed, the music taking them over. Sherry slowly raised her head up, looking into Bryan�s eyes.
�You have never felt more perfect in my arms then right now.� Bryan said.
�Bryan, I ��
�Please don�t speak, let the music take us.� Bryan leaned down, their lips so close. �Sherry.� He whispered.
�Bryan.� Sherry whispered back their lips touching. It wasn�t the old feelings coming back to them but a new one, stronger and full. They stopped swaying, the music filling the moment, their lips saying everything that needed to be said.***Shane and Tonya***The two laughed and smiled at each other, planning the wedding and just enjoying the fact that they were finally able admit the feelings.
�I just realized something.� Tonya said prying herself from Shane.
�What�s that, sweetheart?� Shane asked brushing a stray hair behind her ear.
�Everyone is here.� Tonya said her smile widening. Shane looked around at all their friends.
�Why, you are right.� Shane returned the big smile.
�That means my house is totally�� Shane grabbed Tonya�s hand and led her through the crowd. �Mark, Tonya and I are leaving.� Shane said quickly as they passed Megan and Mark.
�Shane, honey, we don�t have to��
�We don�t know how long this will last.� Shane said laughing, opening the door for her. The two sat quiet in the car, thoughts running through their head. Alone, in love and a big empty house, the possibilities are endless.

***Kimber and J***Kimber sat nervously next to J, he was absolutley gorgeous and the feelings of that night rushed to her. J softly held her hand, tracing the circles in the table with his other hand. There was so much to be said, not sure where to start. Kimber wasn�t sure if she was with J to get back at Kevin or with J because of how he made her feel. She gave him a smile, perhaps the same one that led them to his hotel that night.
�Are you happy, Kimber?" J asked looking into her blue eyes.
�With my job? With my life? With my��
�Marriage.� J said quickly.
�Considering the fact that my soon to be ex-husband is cheating on me�no.� Kimber said looking away.
�How could he cheat on you?� J asked pulling her chin towards him. �You are so beautiful.�
�Thank you but he�� Kimber suddenly felt his lips on hers, sweet and perfect.
�I�m sorry.� J quietly said dropping her hand, he had moved to fast.
�Don�t be.� Kimber said taking his hand. �Never apologize for kissing me.� J moved closer to her, his hand on her back pulling her in tight. He placed his lips on hers, his tongue moving inside with the welcome of her tongue. They were losing each other in the kiss, taking them away.
�What the�� Kevin said pulling J off of Kimber with his fist sending J to the ground.
�Kevin!� Kimber yelled finally standing before Kevin. All the cheating, all the lies, all the nights of tears, before her in the man that took her dignity away. �What the hell are you doing?� Kimber said sending Kevin flying to the ground with her fist, every pain in the hit.�Baby...�
�Don�t call me baby!� Kimber yelled giving him a swift kick in the side. �That�s for wasting my time.�
�Honey.� Kevin said grabbing his side.
�And this is for cheating on me.� Kimber yelled kicking him in the groin as Kevin gave a high-pitched scream. �Go back to Michelle, I have no use for you.�
�Kimber, are you ��
�I am fine.� Kimber said interrupting J. �And let that be a lesson to you. Don�t you ever cheat on me!�
�I won�t.� J said seeing Kevin lying on the ground.
�Good, now take me to your hotel and show me why you want me.� Kimber said grabbing his arm and leading him outside.
�Kimber, we have all night.� J said dodging the dancers.
�I am not wasting any more time.� Kimber said throwing open the door.
�Thank God.� J smiled, he had his woman and the feistiness that came with her.

***Mark and Megan***Mark and Megan finished the dance and walked over to the bar for a refresher. There was something between them, the kisses weren�t the same, the touching wasn�t the same, and feelings were forced. The conversation was empty and the only thing that could be said wasn�t. Megan sipped her drink, looking around the club, trying to find the words. Trying to find the courage. But every time she looked at Mark, his blue eyes would take her over, just like they had done before. Were they each other�s safety net or were they truly�
�Megan, you know I love you.� Mark said touching her hand.
�Yes.� Megan said quietly, her hand coupling his. �And I love you.�
�But are we in love?� Mark asked looking into her brown eyes.
�We use to be.� Megan squeezed his hand. �You�re still seeing Erin aren�t you?� Mark looked at her trying to search for his words but once again, she knew him.
�Megan, I never meant for this to happen.� Mark moved closer to her.
�I know Mark, but I can�t be with you if I�m not the only one that you want to be with.� A tear began to form in her eye. �I love you but not enough to share you.�
�I wouldn�t ask you to share me. That isn�t�� Mark softly wiped the tear that was now falling down her cheek. �I am scared to think of life without you.�
�I know we have known each other�Mark, was I not enough?� Megan asked a crack in her voice.
�Honey, you were too much for me and I mean that in a good way. I don�t know, maybe we grew��
�Up.� Megan said taking his hand.
�You were never replaced, please believe me.� Mark said kissing her cheek. �And I know for a fact, you will not be alone. Take it from someone who knows you completely.� Mark gently brushed her cheek. �You will find someone who will love you completely.� Mark kissed Megan one last time, their lips lingering in the touch. The two sat silent, watching the excitement and happiness around them. Life had just changed for Mark and Megan, the M and M era was now over and new beginnings were just around the corner.

***Jacob and Chrissy***Jacob once again stole a kiss from Chrissy, the many that he had already stolen of the night. The two sat in the corner, sharing their lives and past, their hopes and dreams and everything and anything to just know a little more about each other. They were both lost in each other�s lips, they were caught up in the kisses and the feel of their hands linked together.
�I hope this won�t be a problem when we work together.� Jacob said brushing her hand with his finger.
�We must be very professional.� Chrissy said her smile bright.
�Gonna be hard hiding the fact that we are falling in love.� Jacob said looking into Chrissy�s eyes. �Because I feel that we are��
�Jacob, I have only been in love once. And that ended up in a heartbreak.� Chrissy looked away from his piercing eyes.
�I�m sorry for that but I won�t hurt you.� Jacob lightly stroked her cheek.
�That�s what he said. JC destroyed any hope��
�I will do anything to get that hope back, Chrissy, just give me a chance. Give your heart a chance.� Jacob moved his finger to her lips. �I don�t just fall in love on an impulse. This is forever, Chrissy.� Jacob moved closer to her, brushed his lips on her. �I love you, Chrissy.� Their lips became one as Chrissy melted in his touch. She did give him a chance, a lifetime of chances.

***Nicky and Caz***�You look beautiful, Caz.� Ritchie said startling Caz who was ordering a drink for her and Nicky.
�Thank you.� She said shyly.
�I was hoping to run into you.� Ritchie said taking her hand.
�I should get back to Nicky.� Caz said dropping his hand.
�Are you happy with him?� Ritchie asked, taking her hand. Caz looked into his blue eyes. �Are you really happy?��Yes.� Caz said looking for Nicky.
�You don�t seem it, I mean, your eyes have never lied to me.� Ritchie moved his hand across her cheek lightly brushing it.
�It would be wise if you didn�t touch my girlfriend.� Nicky said standing behind Ritchie.
�We were just talking. We are old friends.� Ritchie said still holding Caz�s hand.
�Caz, are you alright?� Nicky asked looking past Ritchie.
�No, I�m not.� Caz said. �I need my boyfriend to please take me out of here.� Caz said shaking in Ritchie�s touch.
�Done.� Nicky took her hand and began to lead her away.
�Caz, I want to talk to you!� Ritchie yelled grabbing her arm.
�Let go, Ritchie. She has already stated she wants to leave.� Nicky gave Ritchie a look of firmness.
�Ritchie, I have nothing to say.� Caz said now leading Nicky away. Ritchie stood watching the two thread through the crowd. Caz didn�t stop until she was outside, Nicky still being dragged.
�God! I am so stupid!� Caz yelled, the people passing her by staring.
�What honey, what did he...�
�I was so mad at you for lying to me. I almost broke up with you for lying. But now, Ritchie�� Caz stopped her anger seeping inside.
�What? Honey, don�t break up��
�Ritchie cheated on me. Ritchie lied about cheating on me. You lied about being a virgin.� Caz stopped looking at Nicky.
�I am so sorry I lied. I hate myself��
�But you came clean. You told me, you admitted to it.� Caz took Nicky�s hand and held it to her chest. �You told me the truth, something Ritchie never did.�
�Caz, I love you. I will never�� Caz laid her lips on Nicky, her arms wrapped tight around him. The two gone in the embrace. �I love you, Nicky.� Nicky kissed her forehead and held her in his arms. The truth was finally told and now Caz found a man with honesty, just what she had been searching for.

***Ronan and Anya***�Are you sure that you are fine with the arrangements?� Ronan asked standing behind Anya who was ordering room service.
�Yes, I aleady told you I was.� She said smiling at him.
�I can stay with one of the guys�� Anya moved closer to Ronan, him stopping in the closeness. She softly reached for his hand and pulled him closer.
�Maybe it�s fate. I would never have the courage to tell you but now we are alone.� Ronan placed his lips on hers softly at first but then the passion took over. Anya pressed her body close to him, the two stumbling on the bed. �I ordered�� Anya said pulling off his shirt. �Room service.�
�Good.� Ronan said unbuttoning her blouse.
�Are you hungry?� Anya asked kissing his chest.
�What did you order?� Ronan moved his hands on her body.
�Um, I don�t�� Anya was losing herself in his touch.
�Doesn�t matter.� Ronan said as the two showed their nakedness. The door was never answered, the food sat outside and the Ronan and Anya fed their own hunger. The room was more then fate, it sealed the future.

***Kian and Ann***Kian quietly held Ann stroking her hair as she lay sweetly in his arms.
�Please tell me that you don�t regret��
�Kian, I have waited my whole life for this moment. I would never regret this. I love you and you love me. You were meant to have my virginity.� Ann said looking into his eyes.
�Thank you, honey.� Kian said kissing her cheek. Kian and Ann left the club early, went to Ann�s house for conversation and found themselves hopelessly in bed.
�I have never felt like this before, Ann. I never thought that I would settle down and only want to be with one woman.� He brushed back her hair. �But I love you, Ann.�
�Kian, that means more to me then you know.� Ann moved in closer to him. �I love you, Kian Egan.� She brushed her lips on his, her hand moving along his chest. �Please, show me again what I have been waiting my whole life for.� She said with a smile, Kian only happy to oblige. The two never broke apart, not until morning. But then, the shower just gave them another reason for Kian to show Ann what she had been waiting for.
