Faithfully

Bryan put his last piece of luggage in the car, Conor trying to help his
daddy. It was another month on the road of concerts, interviews and fans.
Bryan loved his career; there was nothing better then to be on the stage,
singing. Nothing compared to it. At least until he entered marriage and
fatherhood. Megan's smile and Conor's sweet hug was what drove Bryan's life:
they were his purpose. Time on the road was time away from his purpose.

Highway run,
Into the midnight sun,
Wheels go round and round,
You're on my mind.

"You be good for mommy." Bryan said holding Conor. His blonde hair and chubby
cheeks were imprinted on his mind as he said good-bye. He put Conor down
brushing his hair back, Conor taking his place next to Megan.
"You have fun." Megan said smiling trying to be the strong one. She hated
saying good-bye; she hated being alone, the bed so empty without him. Even
after six years of marriage and him traveling, she was not use to him being
gone, her loneliness taking over her heart.

Restless Hearts,
Sleep alone tonight,
Sending all my love,
Along the wire.

Bryan sat on the bus, waiting for Megan to pick up the phone, his heart
racing to hear her voice.
"Hi sweetie." Megan said knowing it was Bryan; his timing was always perfect.
"Baby." Bryan said with a heavy sigh, his hope restored in him again. Bryan
shared the latest news of the concert; each one of the guys said their
hellos. Bryan then spoke his heart.
"I'm dying without you, Megan." Bryan said softly. "I want to hold you, kiss
you and touch every part of your body that gives me excitement."
"Stop it, Bryan." Megan said laughing. "Actually, don't stop."
"Well, all I can say is that Shane is starting to look good to me." Bryan
said winking at Shane.
"Oh, so now I am being replaced by Shane?" Megan asked enjoying the smile her
husband gave her.
"Well, he's missing Tonya, so we may just have to find comfort in each
other..."
"I'm sorry to interrupt, honey. But Conor wants to tell you something." Megan
said handing the phone to Conor.
"Daddy, I got a cert...a cert...Mommy, what's it called?" Conor said the
phone still to his face.
"Certificate." Megan said brushing back his hair from his eyes, revealing the
blueness of his father.
"Yah, what mommy said. I got it for sharing with David. But I don't like
David because he is mean to the girls but mommy said that I had to share with
him. My teacher was really..." Bryan listened to Conor closing his eyes
wishing he was there watching the excitement in his son's eyes.

They say the road,
Ain't no place to start a family,
Right down the line,
It's been you and me.

Bryan took his final bow, rushed off the stage with the other lads. Girls
screaming, throwing themselves at the men of Westlife. Their names being
chanted by the adoring fans. The lads made their way through the building and
the crowd to the safety of the limo.
"Home, here I come!" Bryan yelled the others agreeing with a cheer. Nicky
knew exactly how Bryan felt; being away from Georgina was not easy for him.
Mark couldn't wait to get home to Caz to finally ask her to marry him. Kian
had plans of vacationing with Ann and getting to know the woman he just met
and fell in love with. Shane wanted to extent the honeymoon with Tonya that
was cut short from the tour.

And lovin' a music man,
Ain't always what it's suppose to be,
Oh girl, you stand by me.

Bryan walked up the walkway of his house, Megan and Conor stood waiting for
the embrace. Bryan dropped his luggage, quickened his steps. He picked up
Megan, holding her tight. In one instant, he scooped up Conor holding his
purpose, getting his breath back.

I'm forever yours-faithfully.

I'm going to be fine." Megan said patting her stomach.
"I hate leaving at this time." Bryan stood holding her hand, Conor continued
running circles around him.
"I am only seven months pregnant. I will be fine." Megan leaned in kissing
him, reassuring him of her strength.
"I'll take care of her." Tonya said kissing Shane good-bye.
"That's helpful. In between your morning sickness, you'll take care of my
pregnant wife." Bryan said smiling, remembering the excitement of when Megan
was pregnant with Conor and the news of being a father. Shane had the same
look.
"Daddy, look at me." Conor said jumping up and down. Bryan picked him up and
began the take off of Flight 5 Conor plane.

Circus life,
Under the big top,
We all need clowns,
To make us smile.

Bryan kissed Megan and Conor good-bye, sat in the car watching the faces fade
with the road. He closed his eyes, missing them the second after leaving.

Through space and time,
Always another show,
Wondering where I am,
Lost without you.

"Sometimes I can't see your face." Bryan whispered in the phone, trying not
to wake up the other lads.
"Close your eyes." Megan said, Bryan doing so. "Picture my red hair and brown
eyes." Megan softly said Bryan began to see the redness of her hair, how it
shined in the perfect light. He could see her eyes, sparkling when she looked
at him. "Picture me wearing..."
"Nothing." Bryan said smiling.

And being apart ain't easy,
On this love affair,
Two strangers learn to fall,
In love again.

"You are running your hands down my neck, to my shoulders and then slowly
down my back." Megan continued, Bryan feeling the moment of his hands
touching Megan the first time. Her skin so perfect, the excitement going
right through him.
"You are driving me crazy, hon.," Bryan said wishing he could physically be
with his wife. The road was getting longer and longer, the times away from
Megan harder every time he spoke to her. But he knew that the minute he saw
her, Conor put to bed, he would be able to show her why the time away was
worth it. The lovemaking was always the best right after he got home. Missing
someone can make the intensity even more pleasurable.

I get the joy
Of rediscovering you.
Oh girl, you stand by me,
I'm forever yours-faithfully.

Bryan rushed into the hospital, pushing the doors open to the labor and
delivery room. The call was frantic, the drive intense trying to make it to
the birth of his second child. Even in the pain, pushing and sweat, Megan
looked beautiful. Bryan took her hand, Megan looking over at him with a smile
on her lips.
"I am so sorry that I didn't get here earlier. I tried getting here as fast I
could but the damn..."
"We have a daughter." Megan said weakly, softly brushing his cheek.
"A daughter?" Bryan said. "A baby girl."
"And she has your smile." Megan closed her eyes out of exhaustion.
"You sleep. I will be right here." Bryan softly kissed her lips, Megan
feeling the safeness of them. Everything would be fine now, Bryan was home.

Faithfully, I'm still yours

Bryan rocked in the chair, holding his new baby daughter. She was wrapped up
in the blanket that Conor was brought home in. Bryan didn't think he would be
more proud then that day but as he looked at his daughter, he could not stop
smiling.
"You have the most beautiful mommy." Bryan said stroking his daughters face.
"And your brother, Conor, will be the best brother. He will protect you and
show you things in life that you need to know." A tear began to run down
Bryan's face, flashes of the future running through his mind. Awards,
concerts, fans and interviews were nothing, nothing compared to the moment of
him holding his daughter.
"Sadie, I love you and I promise to let you know that, every day." Bryan
leaned down to kiss the cheek of the most precious creature in his life.

I'm forever yours.

"Sadie Elizabeth McFadden, I will be forever yours...faithfully." Bryan
softly whispered in her ear. Sadie opened her tiny brown eyes, looked at her
father and the tiniest smile graced her pure face. The face that Bryan would
forever hold dear to me, Faithfully!
