The Journey
My soul was dark,
my ways stern,
there was no respect,
just lots of fear.
A spirit touched my soul,
changing what was my goal,
things that were important,
just didn't seem the same.
A light has changed my world.
Looking at the same things,
yet all looking different now.
Never before seeing,
what was really there.
I began my journey.
A journey from dark to light,
from death to living,
taking to giving,
me to you.
I am starting a new,
a new life to live,
with hope and love,
happiness and respect.
