We have been friends
through more than most
we have laughed
we have cried
even a celebration or two
But now it is different
we are more than just friends
my life would not be complete

Even as we spend our days apart
as we reunite every chance we get

Its as though those mundane things
everyone must do
seem all that more special
as we are side by side.
