You blessed me with a child to love and care for you
I knew this child would bring happiness
But I've been given so much more
I ask your help in raising this child
That you've intrusted to me
And I pray Lord with all my heart
When grown this child will know Thee
This childs added sunshine to my life
And joy to each new day
Lord, you gave me a priceless treasure
Your generosity, I can never repay.
My one great prayer as a Mother
For this child that you've given me
Is to raise the child in a Christian home
And see him willingly love and serve Thee
