Official retirement date of warden Eileen Johnson of Grove Road Boston Spa since 1987. Temp warden Sue to take over full-time until a new warden can be found - could take up to one year !
13th : Trip into Leeds. couldn't meet sarah for coffee as her sister had to go to casualty in St. James hospital, leeds

18th : Met Ken and his wife Anita at pub for sunday lunch. weather was exceptionally cold. took my hot water bottle. posted cheque to winged fellowship trust for espite care in february
19th : Visit from Graham housing association 4pm, checking insulation, promised to get bungalow cavaty wall insulated
20th : Cofee with Sarah in Leeds. Customer from Wilkos hit me with a box on back of the head, he walked off without seeing if i was ok. NEW BATTERY in smoke alarm. Repeat prescription
21st : Re-installed computer software onto desktop pc
22nd : Access bus into Leeds
23rd : Home cleaner Mandy came at 9am for an hour. Leeds wheelchair centre sent letter re: compulsory eye test. Spoke to Ms Jackson on phone to arrange
25th : Sunday lunch with regulars at pub, met friends Ken and Denise from Collingham. Over 130 lunches were made
28th : Company meter plus installed NEW digital electric meter at 2.30pm. snowy and very cold day central heating off with electric power while doing it, sat with my coat on. engineer had to use my steps as day before a motorist crashed into the back of his van and was a right off - his ladders were stiill in his van
31st : Rainy - very cold day

30th : Mark insulations Ltd came to do cavity wall insulation in my bungalow - 4pm. On Nat: Geographic TV at 7pm dream jets - Kim & Cheryl (design team) from Texas design interiors of business corporate jets from Learjets to Boeing 767. Marvellous women, full of charisma and very clever !!!!
Visited Nottingham beer festival from 16th October onwards - very good. one of favourite blends was ' Rutland Mist '
