The light of Christ came forth into the world,
His spirit descends and change takes its hold.
The heart of believers shall never be the same,
The history of man can never be rewritten.

Those who were once afraid and teary,
Braved their way towards their victory.
The Gospel was proclaimed in all of the earth,
Announcing the grandeur, the glory of His death.

A beacon in the dark for the souls that's lost,
Upon transgression upraising lead the host.
For God is the light consuming the very soul,
The spirit that's divided were bounded whole.

Rejoice in the light; glorify the Lord of lords,
A radiance shining from the wounds of His hands.
'Oh God' make your love flare, 
blaze your spirit aglow,
Mighty Lord your example be the road that we follow.

Go therefore, we beacons of the Lord,
Let Jesus shine, be known to the rest of the world.
Be braver and stronger, let God be in charge,
Just be of good deeds and the Lord be magnified.
