Cut Fabric A -
13 - 1 1/2" squares
3 - 1 1/2" x 5 1/2" rectangles
3 - 1 1/2" x 7 1/2" rectangles
3 - 1 1/2" x 10 1/2" rectangles
1 - 1 1/2" x 12 1/2" rectangle
2 - 1 1/2" x 14 1/2" rectangles
1 - 1 1/2" x 17 1/2" rectangle

Cut Fabric C -
4 - 1 1/2" x 8 1/2"  rectangles
5 - 1 1/2" squares
1 - 1 1/2" x 30 1/2" rectangle


1.  We will be using the corner to corner sewing method.  Get out two of the 1 1/2" x 8 1/2" fabric C rectangles.  Sew two 1 1/2" fabric A squares to the ends.  Pay attention to the placement.  Trim and press.  Make 2.
2.  Get out the other  two 1 1/2" x 8 1/2" fabric C rectangles.  Sew two 1 1/2" fabric A squares to the ends.  Py attention to placement.  Trim and press.  Make 2.
3.  We are going to make five half-square triangles using the corner to corner piecing method.  Get out the five 1 1/2"  fabric A squares and the five 1 1/2" Fabric C squares.  Place each right sides together and sew corner to corner.  Trim and press.  Make 5.
4.  We are now going to make rows.  Sew one 1 1/2" x 5 1/2" fabric A to a half-square triangle.  Note placement.
Then sew on 1 1/2 x 14 1/2 Fabric A.  Then sew on a half-square triangle noting placement.
