Light Fabric - 1/4 yard each of 10 different fabrics
Medium Fabric - 1/4 yard each of 6 different fabrics
Dark Fabric - 1/4 yard each of 4 different fabrics
You need the width of fabric so fat quarters will not work. Borders, backing and binding fabric is not included in the list. You may also use more or less variations in your scraps if you wish.
The fabric in each value group may be all different colors or all the same. (ie : all 10 different ivory colors). Or your fabrics may all be the same "value" but differnet colors. (ie : medium an assortment of medium blues, greens, purples and grays). Let your immagination be your guide. Just pick out fabrics that you like and think would look good together
