In this first clue we are going to cut all of the fabric that we will need. So if you do not have all of your fabric this gives you 3 weeks to get it and get it cut.
Light Fabric - Cut 8 strips - 2 7/8" by width of fabric (wof). Subcut the strips into 96 squares measuring 2 7/8" x 2 7/8". Then cut once on the diagnol giving you 192 half-squares triangles.
Cut 18 strips 2 1/2" x wof. Put 12 strips aside. Cut the remaining 6 strips into 96 squares measuring 2 1/2"x 2 1/2". Leave the remaining 12 strips uncut.
Medium Fabric #1 - Cut 9 strips - 2 1/2" x wof. Subcut THREE of these strips into 48 squares measuring 2 1/2" x 2 1/2". Leave the remaining 6 strips uncut.
Medium Fabric #2 - Cut 9 strips - 2 1/2" x wof. Subcut THREE of these strips into 48 squares measuring 2 1/2" x 2 1/2". Leave the remaining 6 strips uncut.
Dark Fabric - Cut 8 strips - 2 7/8 x wof. Subcut into 96 squares measuring 2 7/8" x 2 7/8". Then cut once on diagnol giving you 192 half-square triangles.
