The Third Clue is the Tree Block
Instructions :

Fabric 1 - Cut one 4 1/2"strip.  From this cut two 4 1/2" squares and two 3 1/2" x 4 1/2" rectangles.  Cut one 2 1/2" strip.  From this cut one 2 1/2" x 4 1/2" rectangle and twelve 2 1/2" squares.  Not all will be used for this clue.

Fabric 2 - Cut one 2 1/2" strip.  From this cut two 2 1/2" x 8 1/2" rectangles and two 2 1/2 squares.

Fabric 3- Cut one 2 1/2" strip.  From this cut three 2 1/2" x 8 1/2" rectangles.

Fabric 4 - Cut one 2 1/2" strip.  From this cut one 2 1/2" x 4 1/2" rectangle. four 2 1/2" squares and two 1 1/2" squares.  Not all will be used in this clue. 
Position a 2 1/2" fabric 2 square, on the corner of the 2 1/2" x 4 1/2" fabric 1 rectangle.  Stitch on the diagonal.  Trim and press.  Repeat on the other side making a flying geese (??Goose??) 
Sew a 2 1/2" fabric 1 square to each side of the flying geese.  Square up to 2 1/2" x 8 1/2"
Position a 2 1/2" fabric 1 square on the corner of the 2 1/2" x 8 1/2" fabric 2 rectangle.  Sew on the diagonal of fabric 1.  Trim and press.  Do so for the other side as well using the diagram below for placement.  Make 2
Repeat this process using the 2 1/2" squares of fabric 1 and the 2 1/2" x 8 1/2" rectangles of fabric 3.  Make 3
Position a 1 1/2" square of fabric 4 on the lower RIGHT corner of a 3 1/2" x 4 1/2" rectangle of fabric 1.  Sew on the diagonal. Trim and press
On the other 3 1/2" x 4 1/2" rectangle of fabric 1, position a 1 1/2" square of fabric 4 on the lower LEFT corner.  Attatch the same way as above.
