To make triangle blocks layer Fabric 1 triangle on a Fabric 5 triangle.  Stitch along bias edge as shown.  Be careful not to stretch the triangles.
Press seam allowances towards the darkest.  Repeat for the remaining Fabric 1 & 5 triangles.  Make sure that you sew with Fabric 1 on top and along the bias edge.  This way your pieced triangle units will have Fabric 1 on the same side.  Make 8
Sew one unit to another to make a 6 1/2" square - Make 4
Repeat these steps sewing Fabric 6 & Fabric 7 triangles together to make 4 triangle blocks.  Square up to 6 1/2"
Repeat these steps sewing Fabric 3 & Fabric 8 triangles together to make 4 triangle blocks.  Square up to 6 1/2"
