CLUE 2
The 2nd block/clue is the Half-Square Triangles.  You will need to make:
28 - 3" finished blocks   (larger pattern at bottom of page)
Cutting Instructions:  ( for 28 - 3" finished blocks )
     Light Scraps:  Cut 14 - 3 7/8" Squares
                 
    Dark Scraps:  Cut 14 - 3 7/8" Squares
                 
Assembly:
    Make half-square triangle units by placing the light square on top of the dark square, rights sides together.  Mark a line from corner to corner.  Stitch 1/4" on both sides of the diagonal line.   ***They will need to be trimmed, make sure they measure 3 1/2" unfinished.
Cutting Instructions:  ( for 28 - 6" finished blocks )
     Light Scraps:  Cut 14 - 7" Squares
                 
    Dark Scraps:  Cut 14 - 7" Squares
                 

***The half squared triangles will need to be trimmed, make sure they measure 6  1/2" unfinished.
