General Information





Welcome! As you have probably gathered from the front page this is a Website dedicated to the delightfully daunting Inspector Gina Gold. There can be no denying the fact that Gina is one of the most exciting, strong-willed and downright interesting police officers to join The Bill in recent years. Even her most trenchant critics grudgingly concede that Gina is a force to be reckoned with at Sun Hill. Her character has become very popular in the short period of time that she has been in charge of 'A' Relief, hence the need for a Gina Gold fangroup. This is the fansite for members of that group, The Gold Diggers, which originated on The Bill's Unofficial Fan Forum.

Our Website is fairly basic at the moment but that isn't surprising considering how new the fangroup is. It will be a while before everything is fully operational (Alas, I don't have as much spare time as I used to!) but eventually I hope to have sections devoted to pictures, sounds and videos of Gina Gold as well as fanfic, classic Gina quotes, trivia, information about Roberta Taylor, a forum, recipes, members' pages, even a possible Gina Gold computer game. (June Hunter!) The sky is the limit - With a little imagination and a fair bit of effort I'm hoping this Website will become something that not even Inspector Gold's exacting standards could find fault with.

14/01/2003 - This Website is officially made public. The Gold Diggers' MSN Community The Mine is launched and the group name and sign-off policy are announced.

13/01/2003 - The Gold Diggers attains a membership of fifteen.

12/01/2003 - The Gold Diggers attains a membership of ten.

11/01/2003 - The Gold Diggers is officially established on The Bill's Unofficial Fan Forum in response to Gina Gold's growing popularity as a character on the show.

I think she's awesome! Gina is my all-time favourite character.
She's brilliant. The Bill needs more characters like Gina.
