Blessed Be Thy Oreos
Honor thy Cookie...or else
Let us take a moment and revere this awe-inspiring treat.
The oreo cookie's first ingrediant is sugar. Which means that they are made mostly of sweet powdery goodness. The very last ingrediant is chocolate. This mean there is very little to no actual pre-existing food product within the morsal, which makes it all the more amazing.
Why do we like Oreos so much? Well, let us tell you...
- Oreos provide hours and hours of quality entertainment in and of themselves. The myriad methods of ingesting these gems can keep the average insomniac occupied for almost all of Must See Thursday and all of Alley McCrap. The Oreo: better entertainment than sitcoms since 1912.
- The sweet sweet taste. Where else can you go to get an explosion of flavor such as given by the Oreo? You get chocolate, you get cream. You get them Mixed. Any way that you want to do it. The flavor goes nicely with almost anything. Milk, water, coffee.
- Creamy white goodness for under $50.
- Texture. What other snack treat can you read while you eat it? Or create imprints in ice cream with the serated edges?
- If you don't like the cookie part, you can throw them at people. Sometimes it has enough cream left on to stick to a bald man's head. If you get really lucky he won't know. Also, old ladies' asses. Big fun.
- Because who can really afford speed nowadays?
