Retarded Dog
A bit of insight to this theory.
A dog is loyal. Blindly so. You can beat it and it comes back. You can starve it, and it comes back. You can abuse it in any way you can think of, and it comes back. To a certain point. Eventually it would turn and become vicious.
A retarded dog, however, would never realize, would never learn. It would stick with the abusiveness, happily wagging it's tail and drooling. It's ignorance merely egging on the torment.
