In Silmaril
I am, when I play and compose my music. The name
is derived from the "The Silmarillion" by J.R.R. Tolkien.
To me it means an emotion, a special state of mind. Something I
relate to those mystic silmaril-stones in Tolkiens book.
I can only write music, which deals with me and my emotions.
My lyrics are some kind of cryptic diary, I am not sure, if
other people know what to do with it.
With my way of working and thinking on music comes
the abandonment of fame and luxuriancy.
I prefer this to being an accessary to the acoustic
air pollution, which we have to listen to constantly.
In my studio
you are kindly invited to have look. It is a small home-recording
studio. I use an old Atari-computer, several keyboards and an analog
8-track tapemachine.
Though I use mainly electronic instruments, I try to create a "natural" sound
in most of my songs. This is not always easy, but certainly very interesting.
You have to "think" like a bass player, if you want to arrange a bass part
in a song. I am going to play and record more acoustic instruments.
Do you want to join me in a session?
In your CD-Player
you can get my music in summer of 2002.

The song "The Stick" combines music and my second passion, which is
juggling. I wrote this song for my perfomances with the devilstick -
some pictures of me on stage you find at my
