How is SeasonalMovies.com different than other film sites?

SeasonalMovies.com is different than other film sites as it focuses on movies that have yet to come out. The site updates season to season, always covering movies that will release in the following film period. The idea/goal of the site is to offer a simple, concise site for anyone to find what they can expect to see in the theaters within the next few months, who is heading it, who is in it, and how good the movie is projected to be.

What are the different movie seasons of the year?

As the year begins, the movie industry enters the Oscar season in which movies begin to pine for the coveted awards. After the Oscar season, the spring season is introduced in which movies take on the motifs of love and Easter. Summer brings in the blockbusters: large, epic, showy movies meant to do nothing more than bring in as much money as possible. After the blockbusters, the fall season begins which introduces movies including themes of evil (Halloween) and family (Thanksgiving). The year ends with the winter season focusing on Christmas films.

What are other useful film sites?

Other sites that I found extremely useful when making this site include
IMDB.com, ComingSoon.net, and RottenTomatoes.com. If you are interested in seeing alternative information on any of the films you see on this site, I would highly suggest that you check out these alternatives.

Where should I go to buy tickets when the movies on this site hit theaters?

Once the movies on this website come out in theaters, you may either buy tickets at your local movie theater or reserve tickets at
Fandango.com. Follow the instructions on the site to reserve tickets for any movie. This website is especially helpful for when movies are expected to sell out.

Why does some of the information on this site seem to be incorrect?

Most of the movies on this site are listed as being in post-production. As such, they are wrapping up, but not quite finished. Therefore, all dates, names, etc. are subject to change. The site will be updated as much as possible to stay current with its content.

Why can I not see the trailers?

The trailers, as listed on the 'Trailers' page and on each film page, require Windows Media Player to view. If you do have Windows Media Player but still can't see the trailers, then the resolution of the trailers may be the problem. Each of the trailers on this site are in high resolution, and anything less than a high speed internet connection may cause them to load slowly and freeze. If you wish to see lower resolution trailers, you may do so at
ComingSoon.net. Simply do a search using the name of the movie you wish to see the trailer for to locate the lower resolution trailers.
