Calypso stole him away and kept him on her island. A goddess, a sea nymph and still, he wrests himself free in pursuit of human love.
No one thinks of Calypso, only Penelope weaving and unweaving rugs.

(See February) If I could suspend what is paradigmatic about 21st century love and allow myself to build a definition that works to my needs then hipocrisy will give way to a workable unity that is:
more honest than defensive
more whole than conflicted
more free than guilt-ridden
Joe's progressive search for truth is still trapped in the definition of absolutes, the One, an Only, a singular representation of everything one needs in a single body.
A search for hedonistic pleasure with a new friend gives me a new definition.
