Poems

The ones with asterisks are the ones I wrote.

*Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Knife (from Fall 1998)
Twinkle, twinkle, little knife,
how you're used to end my life.
Stab real hard and deeply, too,
in my heart; your mark be true.
Twinkle, twinkle, little knife,
how you're used to end my life.

*from a primary song (from Fall 1998 - slightly altered b/c I couldn't remember it exactly)
I love cutting; it loves me.
I love bleeding profusely.
Now I'm safe and so you see,
Cutting's the only way for me.

How will you know I am hurting,
If you cannot see my pain?
To wear it on my body
Tells what words cannot explain.
~~ C. Blount

from my friend A.W.J.

I saw a little birdy on my sill.
So as not to scare it, I stood still.
I lured it in with crumbs of bread
then I smashed its frickin' head!
