The Dose- May 30th, 2001.
This is the second edition of The Dose! This time, instead of random thoughts, it will be a news update. I'm still toying with the column, as to the subject of it. I might post news, or personal opinions or whatever. So read away! This edition will be a news edition.
- Tonight, EIWA's first PPV, The Beginning will go on the air. And though it's not the best 'hyped' event, it'll be something to look out for. Apparently Dino Delsante is bringing in a friend of his soon. Could it mean tonight? From the Fleet Center, in Boston, Mass. It's going to be a good show, and while I'm at it, I think I'll go ahead and make some predictions.
Battle Royal
Shawn Carter Vs Arthryn Vs The Foundation/Immortal Vs Ethan Young
Vs Big John Anderson Vs Mr.Platinum.
I'm picking Shawn Carter and Arthryn. Both men have already cut their two
promos, and looked very good at it.
Steel Cage Match
NaMira Vs Neon Vs Mike Barnes Vs Ox
I have only seen any activity from Neon...so I guess I'm picking him!!
Weapons Match
Anton Bailey Vs Dino Delsante Vs Cam Campbell
(First Blood)
In this match, I like all three men. But there's something about The
Cornerstone...I don't know. And if there indeed is a friend of his on his way
into the EIWA ranks, it could very well be the determining factor. Delsante is
my pick.
Tag Team Match
Vince "The Main Brain" Fontaine & Shane Matthews Vs JT $weet & Masta Red
This match promises to be a good one. Though I haven't seen anything from The
Main Brain, or Masta Red, Shane Matthews and JT $weet seem ready for this match.
But since I have to pick a winner, I'll pick Shane Matthews' team.
-This would leave one tournament spot open. We'll just have to see how this all develops. I've heard that the 3 co-presidents have been working hard to get new talent, maybe we'll see some new faces tonight! Lets hope!
- FWL becomes part of the Alliance! I'd report about it, but I'd rather you read it straight from their website. Click HERE.
- DSW has named the Showstopper of the week on their official website, and for the third week in a row, Rob Traxler has taken the award. Congratulations to Rob Traxler.
- Fenichel has updated HIW's website with a rather interesting OOC conversation between Hoke Smart and . . . Joe. Go there and take a look, in my opinion, it's hillarious.
- Lance Hunter linked us on the main page of HWW's website, for which I thank him deeply and I now officially mark for him. *L*
- State 31's website has posted the results for their latest house show. And I have got to say, TTW and State 31 are pulling some great work, and now with the WWS alliance coming through, they are local feds to watch out for.
- That's all for this edition of the Dose...Email is you need anything... [email protected].
Until next time,
The E-Wrestling Mark.
