Weta

In a hollow tree there lives a giant weta.

Here comes another weta and they fight.

The weak weta does not win. The strong weta wins.

The Weta

The weta is scary. He is hiding under a tree. Enemies are after him. The weta is fierce. He is going to fight another weta. One has run away. The female wetas are safe.

The Weta

Wetas live in forests and in caves in New Zealand. They eat fruit, flowers and leaves. Wetas look like grasshoppers. They also look like crickets. They have six legs, a thorax and an abdomen. They also have antennae and a head. Rats and moreporks love to eat wetas. They have three body parts and an exoskeleton. Female wetas lay eggs from their ovipositor.

I like wetas.
