| The Loft Project: Before & After | ||||||||||||
| Side-to-side, the Scamp 5th Wheel's loft measures 72" (6'). The Scamp's factory configuration takes advantage of the loft space by using it for a bed. Unfortunately both my wife and I are 68" tall, (5'8"), and found the loft bed was a little tight for comfortable sleeping. So our first "major" modification to our trailer was to remove the "gaucho" sofa/bunk bed just below the loft and reconfigure the sleeping deck to run front-to-back along an extended loft platform with ample storage space below and a small hanging space closet. |
