Challenge: Narcissa/Filch
Challenged: Skylar Inari and Lunari

Notes: Strange story. Narcissa winds up at Hoqwarts and finds something she didn't expect. This makes no sense at all, and there are several glaring inconsistancies that we didn't want to fix. Ignore all problems.

What's A Filch To Do?

Narcissa Malfoy stalked through the corridors of Hogwarts school on a bright sunny day in search of Professor Dumbledore. Turning a corner, she bumped into something hard. Looking up, ready to scream at whatever clumsy fool dared to walk into her, her breath caught in her throat as she looked into the most beautiful pair of blue eyes she had ever seen.

Coupled with the over-powering aroma of dragon dung the man was the most hideous man she had ever laid eyes on with the exception of his eyes. His eyes widened in shock as he realized who the blond bombshell was.

"Sorry," he mumbled, stepping out of her way while he tugged at the dirty clothes which made up this wardrobe. She gave him one last sneering look before brushing past him and continuing on her way.

Filch watched breathlessly as quite possible the most beautiful woman he had ever seen walked out of sight.

Shaking himself back to his senses, he shouted at a group of students who had been watching, and stormed down the hallway. Little did he know that his screaming rage at the first years had been watched with gleaming excitement by a Narcissa who had taken cover around the corner and had peered at him watching his blue eyes flash with anger.

Filch paced down the now empty corridors of Hogwarts, Mrs. Norris at his side. All day he had tried to find distractions to keep his mind off the mysterious and beautiful woman whom he had only met that morning, but now, as he patrolled the halls he found himself alone with his thoughts and unable to think about anything else. He had to find out who this woman was!

And then it all came back to him, and he felt his minuscule heart wither. There was no way that Narcissa Malfoy would notice his infatuation no, his love.

But somehow... he knew he had to try. Racing to his rooms he had a quick shower, then scrambled into his nicest set of robes. Brushing his hair back so that it looked more elegant he grabbed a bunch of daises that he had confiscated from a fourth-year girl that afternoon. Running to the entrance hallway he waited for the beautiful Narcissa to prepare to leave Hogwarts.

His heart raced wildly beneath his chest as he thought about his beautiful Narcissa, and ways that he could impress and truly capture his love. He skipped down the stairs as he saw her figure appear outside the window, walking quickly to catch up with her before he lost sight. "Narcissa, wait!" he called out, out of breath, but finally managing to come face to face with his love to be or so he hoped.

She turned, her grey eyes alight with a strange sort of excitement and he felt his heart flutter. Puffing slightly he bowed jerkily and thrust the bedraggled bouquet of daisies out in front of him. "For...you." he panted.

Narcissa had a smile on her face, but the smile quickly turned into a frown as she looked at the daisies, many with leaves ripped off and heads missing. She grabbed them from his hand, holding the bouquet up to her nose and sniffing gently.

"How...thoughtful of you." she said, before dropping the flowers to the ground and grabbing him by the collar of his rope, pulling him close and kissing his lips passionately.

And Filch was in heaven as he returned the kiss enthusiastically.

End.
