Yu Yu Food-tropolis Part 9: Astuko

Astuko raised the beer bottle to her mouth once more, then settled back with a sigh, the bottle was empty again. It always seemed to be empty.

She staggered to her feet and lurched over to Yusuke's room,"Yusuke, I'm going to go out for awhile. Take care of the house."

"Mom, you aren't going out to get more beer already are you?"

"Hai!"Astuko stumbled out the door.

She walked unsteadily down the street and had almost reached the bar when she was grabbed from behind.

Astuko was dragged into a dark alley were she could faintly hear people muttering in an arcane language.

Her vision shifted and all of a sudden she was a peacan.

The man who had grabbed her from behind now picked up Astuko the peacan, dipped her in some sauce and popped her in to his mouth.

"Ah, good. I was hungry."He muttered before he faded away into the darkness.

And Astuko hadn't even had the wits to feel afraid before she had been eaten.

*giggles* Poor, poor Yusuke now he's really without a mother.
