| Challenge: Snape/Lockhart Challenged: Skylar Inari and Lunari Notes 2: From Lockhart's POV of all things, set during second year. Kiss 'im Silly Classes were out for Christmas holidays, and Lockhart stood alone in his room, admiring his charming looks from in front of his body-length mirror. "Spectacular! Simply spectacular." He praised himself. The many pictures lining the wall all nodded their agreement as Lockhart tried out a different pose and grinned cheekily at himself. Finally, able to admire himself as much as he pleased! A knock on the door startled him, and he smoothed his hands down the front of his vest and opened the door, a startled expression on his face as the last person he had expected to see stood in his doorway. "Sn-Snape! What brings you to my rooms at such an ungodly hour?" He asked flabbergasted, before smiling. "Ah, surely you've taken me up on my offer of an autograph?" He dipped his hand briskly, "How wonderful, I'm simply delighted!" Glaring at Lockhart from beneath his greasy black locks, Snape answered coldly, "No, you fool, I am here against my own will to inform you that...due to a lost bet with Minerva... I must kiss you." Snape's face turned a deep flush and, not believing that he had just said that, and worse, that it was true. "In fact..." he continued slowly as if every word was being dragged unwillingly from him, "I am to...kiss you silly." Lockhart's smile was frozen in place, his eyes wide as he stood there, shocked. "Oh...oh! Come in then, come in." Lockhart spread his hand out in welcome, and if possible, Snape flushed an even deeper shade of red and brushed past him into the room. Turning he shoved Lockhart up against the door frame whispering, "I really don't want to do this Gilderoy, but Minerva's left me no choice." He leaned forward and...well... proceeded to um, kiss Lockhart silly. Not sure what he was expected to do, Lockhart did nothing but lean against the wall as Snape's lips locked with his. After a moments time, Snape pulled away from Lockhart with a smirk on his face. "I'll be leaving." And he did, in a sweep of black robes. Lockhart readjusted his robes, ran fingers through his hair, "That was an enthralling encounter, never knew the old boy had it in him." And the faces in the portraits nodded their agreement. End.
