Warnings: Duo and Heero poem.

In His Arms

By: Skylar Inari

Heero:

The God of Death,

My heart, my soul

Contained within in his grasp.

With his quick wit,

Soft tongue and slender body,

I'll learn to live again.

Duo:

A Perfect Soldier,

An emotionless gaze.

Threaten's death and yet,

I'm drawn to him.

My job now is not to kill,

But to make him laugh.

Both:

A whispered phrase,

A soft touch of skin.

The emotions we hide,

Come alive within.

Liquid heat searing inside,

His legs twined about my body.

For in his arms,

I found my home.

Duo:

My place is with him,

How could I leave?

When his voice cries out uncertainly,

Needing someone to hold and love.

I could not leave, even if I wished.

I am drawn to him,

Like a moth to flame,

And I refuse to let go!!

Heero:

The gentle voice,

The comforting arms,

Are there when my past comes haunting.

When we met I vowed to kill him,

But now, I can't live without. . . . .

I won't let go!!!

Both:

A whispered phrase,

A soft touch of skin.

The emotions we hide,

Come alive within.

Liquid heat searing inside,

His legs twined about my body.

For in his arms,

I found my home. . . . .

In his arms I'm finally home. . . . .
