Our recording studio is located at Cathy's and Betty's house in San Diego and our recording tool used to be a sing-along cassette recorder (for kids) but now it has evolved into a handy-dandy-bring-around-with-you-everywhere-except-in-the-public cassette recorder device!! We've already written 2 songs but they they don't make sense and its both less than 1 minute long (I think). We're working on a song with a chorus and everything called "Memories"... and yea its about memories.
Anyway, about 6 years ago, we weren't always called IVL. Back then, our first name was "the Three Cheerers". We didn't sing but we did some cheers and that's when we started to write one of the two songs. All 3 of us was in elementary school! When I (Cathy) entered Junior High, we changed our name to CKB standing for Cadaver, K----------- (it means a resident of Hawaii), and Bamboo. Its also our initials!! Yea I know they're funky nicknames but hey, we didn't care!!
4 years later, we changed our name again to Baybee XTC. After we found out that there was already a singer named XTC and we didn't wanna be the baby of XTC, we changed our name to Xplicit-e a couple months later. We sticked with that name for a while until we thought that our name didn't fit us so we came up with Insane Viet Ladies months after Xplicit-e.
Our group is all about singing for fun.. and its just a hobby! We don't have a record deal and WONT get one because we'll never make it with OUR singing! But still, we're proud of what we got so don't go clowning us alright? That's all the info for now, take care.
