Pho'Loxen
A peak rises very near to Pho'Loxen. It is rather a hill, with the top 'cut-off' and a broken, abandond stone settlement up top. Pho'Loxen is a rather weird city, due to their neighboring hill. Because the hill is in the east, the direction of the rising sun, every morning the hill is covered in a golden glow and seems to take on a life of its own. Because of this, the people of Pho'Loxen believe they are the prized city of the Goddess of the Sun. This city self-proclaims themselves as the Holy City, the city where the Gods can connect to the mortal, but underneath, this city is far from innocent. Those who do not praise their precious mound are often terrorized out of town, or killed. . Merz
Merz is, as proclaimed by Sobri'lian, a city paved with gold where even the poorest of poor can become one of nobility! Ha, yeah right. Merz is a large trade city, where ports are constantly working in trade with foreign lands. Merz is, as well, a slum among slums. Merz's streets are filled with grime and dirt, beggars and thieves, and the breeding ground for crime. Few wealthy people live here, in fear for their life or pockets, and those that do or no better in morals then the criminals on the streets. Despite being a hellhole, and city of no escape, Merz does offer a majority of the wealth that comes from outside of Aenor. . Oteo Inlet
Oteo Inlet is one the major sources of economy in Sobri'lian. Boats and ships arrive and depart from the docks about the inlet, filled with fish caught from the very inlet or the ocean that fuels it. Oteo Inlet has generally clean waters, and a plentiful source of fish. Sailors and fishermen often make their homes about this inlet. As well, Oteo Inlet is a prized place for relaxtion and peace. In parts were boats do not dock, and the waters are calm and serene, Oteo Inlet makes a perfect place for taking a dip or lying in the sun, dreaming your worries away. Rysphegal
On the verge of the ocean, this capital city Rysphegal is the pride of Sobri'lian. With sheer, blacked and jagged, cliffs which dip into the slosh of the ocean, Rysphegal is virtually unattackable from the back. Rysphegal also stands on the rise of a hill, allowing vision to stretch far and wide from it. Made of stone, the city is built in mini-tiers and there is a series of short towers that makes up the castle where the Queen lives. Rysphegal's streets are clean and the people are orderly because the Queen has expectations for city. Many guards patrol the walls and roads to fulfill these wishes. Coastline
The Coastline out lines a long sandy beach. It is long, but not very wide. Up from the beach you will find lots of rocks, where sea life often gets stuck in. If you go up from the rocks you will find a large cliff that is almost impossible to go up. When the tide is in the water rises to a quarter of the cliff. The tide comes in quick with large waves. If you are stuck on the small beach at the time you have a large possibility of getting taken out to sea. Not many people know about the only way up. It is a wood and rope ladder that is hidden within a cave. Once you see the cave you will see light at the end of it; the rope is at the end. It is a fairly long climb up, just hope the ladder doesn’t break. Apara
Apara is a city made of white marble, the glorious capital city of Ilia; so it is no surprise this city attracts the most brilliant of minds and the most powerful of people. Although declared the capital of Ilia, Apara is better known as the capital of Myth; the city of magic. Apara is the heart of magic commerce. The city is built much in a spiral manner. The outer most roads are filled with the poor, where theives run rampant. Further in is the great expanse of the black market, where shop, stand, and alleyway all serve as ideal places of trade. As you move closer to the physical core, there appears a slight incline, and large houses erupt from the ground so the noble can live comfortably. Finally, at peak and center of Apara, is a great white tower that stands defiantly against the sky. This is the white palace of the Queen of Ilia, and is well protected by both man and a set of innerwalls. Willows
In the heart of Sirchian's Plains, Willows is pleasantly protected by the forest that blocks it from the rest of Ilia. Although still considered a city, Willows has few inhabitants because of the difficulty getting through the forest. Willows is best known for the variety of travelers who have made it there, but, without the knowledge of the general public, Willows habors something more then variety. Willows is the true HQ of Heaven's Sword. An abandond church stands on the edge of Willows and if you are brave enough, there is a door that leads underground. From this beginning point, members of Heaven's Sword must travel an intricate series of maze-like tunnels. These sewers, if you know your way, lead to the underground lair of Heaven's Sword. The actually location of Heaven's Sword, in contrast to the grimy tunnels leading to it, is actually wonderfull decorated and filled with only the best of what money can buy. Til Torian
Til Torian is the city of kings. Til Torian is the former capital of Aenor, when king Taaku was the rule. The city was a glorious capital, and although it has not fell into slums, it has lost its former marvel. Now, Til Torian is a depression - the reminder of what once was. Til Torian is built with highwalls, completely flat where nobles are uncommon. Til Torian is a poor city, with few crime for no one is worth pick pocketing. Sirchian's Plains
Sirchian's Plains, named after the God who once was thought to have made his home here, spreads itself across a peninsula. The grass is green and lush here, unspoiled by war or human trauma because these plains are protected by a forbidding forest. This forest, thick with trees and ridden with an ancient malace, is very hard to pass through so that only a few dare to do so, and even fewer make it through alive. Sirchian's Plains is home to only one famous city, but is dotted with several small villages. River Apara
River Apara is the widest river in Ilia, and probably even Aenor. It starts from the West ocean and flows through to the East. It is surrounded by a very thick forest that even animals have a hard time getting through. The most popular trees here are evergreens so even in the winter the forest are green. There are a few trails that are cut for travel to the river. Although it is wide it has a very weak current making it popular for things such as swimming and washing. Most people have to swim across the lake seeing as there is no bridge made for crossing. Serette
Serette is a small city, on the verge of being called a village. It is built within shouting distance of a lake, which serves both as an attraction to tourists and the source of life to the city. Serette is a city of mediocre means, and the people here are oddly peaceful for being the training grounds for the Ged-Guhra army. Archers, knights, and swordsmen make their homes here, giving refugee to their famalies, and just outside the city they train their skills. Serette, despite being a big assest of Ged-Guhra's army, is oddly unprotected with houses made of wood and low walls to protect the people. Then again, the city probably could just rely on the sheer number of soldiers that camp just outsides it borders. Wind Howl
Set in the Alahari Mountains, this capital city is truly a wonder. The Alahari Mountains are unforgiving, merciless mountains that few dare enter past foothills; however, Wind Howl is set in its heart. Built, literally on the side of one of the mountains' peaks, this city is built strong, tough, and large. One path leads to it, and the same path leads out. The city, originally given another name, was soon to be called Wind Howl from the wind that caresses it from dawn to twilight. The wind here is sharp and rough, though most parts of the city is built low enough below the city's walls to be protected from the wind's chill. Jhazton
The Jhaz River makes a bend in its path, making a relaxed horseshoe type of shape and with the war-city of Jhazton sitting right in that bend, it looks like the river moved for that city. Jhazton's location is ideal. With the thickest, deepest part of the Jhaz River keeping its sides and back, it is essentially protecting the city from attack from those sides. Allaston
Aenor is a predominantly human country, where it is an uncommon site, in many of the cities, to see someone other then human. And although Aenorian humans aren't particularly known for being discriminatory towards other races, there is defiantly an unspoken tension between them. Allaston, however, is the city that defies this. Allaston, it seems, was built to be a city of variety. Many people, whether they be human or not, inhabit Allaston, making it the largest city in all Aenor. As well as being the largest city, population wise, Allaston hosts the biggest markets of Aenor. Merchants line the streets and goods, either legal or not, are bought, sold, and traded as frequently as one breathes. ABridor
Bridor is a quaint little village, with a low population but high amount of visitors. Many bars and hotels dot the dirt roads of Bridor, but the most famous of all taverns stands here; The Sea Eagle. The Sea Eagle is quite infamous for their superb ale and pretty barmaids. Bridor is a village dependent on those who pass through it, though being settled not far Jhaz River and nestled on the edge of a long plain of green, Bridor isn't half bad to live in either. The days are lazy and pleasant in Bridor, and the nights are filled interesting characters and a sort of fun only the moon enchants. Mrototh Lake
Mrototh Lake is a rather large lake that sits at the edge of the no-mans land. It is filled with trout, ducks, frogs and other wildlife. Beautiful yellow lily pads also inhabit the lake. There are cattails along the edge of the lake, almost as if a decoration from nature. The water here isn’t all that clean, you can’t see the bottom of the lake. At night the place is very noisy; the nocturnal animals come out. You can hear wolves’ howl, crickets sing, owls hooting, and the frogs croaking. It is a popular place just to fish or camp out for a couple nights. Opalish Tunnel
Before you can actually see the Opalish tunnel you have to understand that the Opalish Tunnel is hidden from view. Why? Because if you don't know where the Tunnel is, all you can see is a big, steeeeep ditch area. A crevasse is what it is that goes down steeply until it levels out to just a gentle slope. Then, you can see a big, scrawny Oak tree covering something unknown, but that looks like a whole. In reality, the Opalish Oak that covers this 'hole' is the entrance to the Opalish Tunnel which is used by many that are thrown into the ditch and left to die, secretly of course, and escape. Although, that's only the ones that survive. Jhaz-Para Temple
The Jhaz-Para Temple is, to date, the oldest temple still standing. It is built right on the spot where the 3 countries meet, as well as the place where the River Apara and the Jhaz River become one. The Jhaz-Para Temple is fairly large and always attended by a number of priests and priestesses. There is, at all times, 9 lanterns burning in this temple, 1 latern for each major God. This temple is, perhaps, the only place untouched by the war. It is mutually agreed as a safe haven and is always used if, for some forsaken reason, 2 or all 3 of the rulers wish to take council together. Lanton
Lanton is neither a glorious city, nor a city of slums. It is built moderately, but perhaps a bit overpopulated. Many, many guards patrol the city from all 3 sides of Aenor, so this city is often riddled with high tension and the occasional bloodshed. Lanton is known, by rumor and suspicion, as the cradle of the HQ of Heaven's Sword; and it indeed is - sort of. While those of high rank, such as the Merlin or Ytäna, are not in Lanton, those wishing to join are. A large building, once painted red but now nothing more then a faded orange at best, stands towards the heart of Lanton. By invitation only, those wishing to join Heaven's Sword come to this building to be tested and if accepted, trained. This building also doubles at the main trading post for Heaven's Sword, the place where the wealth and trade is kept.
