Dieters & Fasters
It's been proven that teens are facing much more pressures just to fit in the "Popularity Crowd". They'd do anything - drugs, alcohol, starvation, just to be like those around them. The worst part about all this is you choose to go a different route to get noticed and to look and feel thinner and prettier. In the media models, actresses, and singers are forced to shed the pounds because they are most likely told to by their managers. Since the years of Jesus Christ and the history of the late Karen Carpenter, more and more of us are "not eating, restricting, and/or binging and purging" to lose weight faster. To us, one pound a week isn't even enough, but five to ten pounds a week can keep us motivated. Here are some diets which you should consider:
~The 2-4-6-8 Diet~ Eat no more than 200 cals the first day of diet, fast the second, 400 the third, fast the fourth, 600 cals the fifth, fast the sixth, 800 cals the seventh, and so on....
~Water Fasting~ This consists of nothing but water the length of which you are fasting. Drink 8 or more glasses of water a day, better if it is iced. This helps rid your body of toxins.
~Restricting~ This is a chosen method because to restrict you get to make up your own number of cals to consume a day - the less, the better.
~Exercise~ I prefer the walking and jogging because you burn more cals, but crunches are good too.
