"Illest B-Boys In The Game"
"Illest B-Boys In The Game" was pretty dope. There were a lotta rules though, such as: paying $2.50 to enter the 2-on-2s, no camcorders for the battles... But I thought the jam was pretty dope. The venue was DOPE! One of the dopest venues I've ever been to at a jam. It was a big basketball gym with bleachers and everything, so the crowd was able to see the battles. The jam was pretty well put-together.
The jam started off with just open circles. Everyone was just practicing on the floor. Then there was a circle battle between Outburst (Lost Tribe) against Logan (House of Representatives). Outburst called out Logan right when Logan walked to the circle where Outburst was at. It was a pretty dope battle, even though it didn't last that long. Both guys ripped it in my opinion, and both did crashed a few times. There was also another circle battle, but this one was just for fun and both guys were messing around. It was Do Knock (Battle Monkeys) vs. K-Mel (Boogie Brats). It was a pretty funny battle because both guys were NOT only bboying, but also harlem shaking.
There was a Toprock/Uprock showcase by the original toprockers, which was King Uprock and a few others(?). I didn't see this, so I don't really know what went on there, but I heard it was pretty dope.
The open circles lasted for a pretty long time. Then all the crews that signed up (around 50+ crews), they had to do a "one set per person" showcase so the judges can pick out the top 16 crews to compete in the battles.

All the battles were dope! I thought Moy and Lil John did deserve to win, but K-Mel thought the opposite and started getting really pissed at the judges. Props to Moy and Lil John for winning, and props to K-Mel and Josh for winning 2nd. Everyone ripped it.
Highlights of the Battles/Showcase:
-Rawbzilla & Stunts wrestling routine. That shit was dope!! Rawbzilla had a silver mask on.
-Do Knock's signature move where he throw's his legs... he hit that combo clean and dope ass hell!
-Moy vs. Do Knock in the HaviKORO vs. Not Quite Tribe battle.
-Ruen vs. Boy in the LA Breakers vs. HaviKORO battle.
-Boy's beanie combo. Dope as hell!
-Frankie Flave's sets in every battle. Clean and dope.
-Chris (Full Force) elbow switch freezes, he was hitting a grip of those. Dope shit.
-K-Mel's flips. Hes got some hops!
-Ruen and Marlon going at it when their battle was over. One handed hops...
-K-Mel was battle-rocking Miracles (AZ Styles) and accidently punched Miracles on the face.
-Moy busting madd power on their showcase.
-Lil John calling K-Mel a "hollowback master".
-At the end of the final battle, both crews were telling the judges to watch the footage in the camcorder...
-BJ (RAOS) set during the showcase. That was the loudest crowd reaction during the whole showcases!
-Abgirl's headspins to halo to airchair. Bgirl on another level.. Dope.
-I thought it was pretty dope how that guy in Not Quite Tribe lost a partner and Do Knock just ran in to back him up.
-The guy in the red from Militia was busting some pretty dope styles.

My personal highlights...
My Vegas trip was dope and fun as hell! I can't thank Beee and Ai (Fat Pounds) enough for all the things they did to help me out, like giving me a ride to Vegas and everything. Also I gotta thank Riz and Kat (Higher Dimensions) for a fun time chilling together as roommates and backseat buddies... haha. You guys are some funny ass people!
Friday:
Beee and Ai came to pick me up after I got off work, and we went straight to Vegas. In the car, Ai told Beee that they have to be nice to me or else I'm gonna write a bad review on them. Haha. So here is my review, and its not gonna be bad. When we finally got to Vegas, we got a room at the Plaza hotel. It was pretty far from the strip, but the room was actually pretty worth sleeping in. It was pretty cheap too. When Riz and Kat finally showed up to the room, we all went out to the Golden Gate to walk around and to find a place to eat. So we ended up eating at this one cafe (forgot the name), and their salt and pepper shakers look like a penis! Haha. Then Beee ate everyone's leftover food. We also saw Vince (Ethnic Nation) at the casino gambling, but he wasnt going to the jam. That night, while I was "trying" to sleep on the sofa next to the dark ass scary-looking restroom; Beee, Ai, Riz, and Kat was talking bout some scary shit. And that got me all paranoid and couldnt sleep cuz the reason being is that I was the only one sleeping by myself! Haha. All thanks to them, that ALL of us got only 4 hours of sleep!
Saturday:
Next morning we all got ready for the jam. [Jam review above] This jam was actually a really fun jam. I was at the Fat Pounds booth for awhile, and all I gotta say is, it is hella fun helping out on selling shirts and videos. On the beginning of the jam, tons of people came up to the booth and bought a buncha stuff. There were even people spending around $100 on shirts and videos! That shit was dope. And I also got to meet a lotta people. Some of the bboys/bgirls I've met was Rawbzilla, Chris (Knucklehead Zoo), Angel (RAOS), Define (Baby Styles), and some anonymous people that came to buy stuff on the booth. Everyone I met were hella cool, but I didn't EXACTLY meet Define, she just came up to me because she thought I was part of Fat Pounds and asked if I have a belt she can use. Haha. I also got to chill with my sister, Ivy, for a pretty long while during a few battles. And I also got "hooked up" by the woman selling pizza upstairs; she gave me 3 slices for $2.50 and told me to not tell anyone that she hooked me up which I didnt tell anyone so thats why I'm typing this up so everyone can read it themselves.
After the jam, we all went back to our room to rest a little while. And then we went to the strip to find a place to eat. We ended up going to Paris and we ate at this one cafe with some "cheap" stuff. We were all tired and decided to just eat something little and go back to get some rest, so Riz and I ordered some chicken tenders, but these arent ordinary chicken tenders, they got some "special sauce" or something on em. When the food came, Riz took a sniff and felt like he got "maced"! Haha. So I tried it and I got "maced" pretttttty baaad. At least Riz got some glasses to protect his eyes. My eyes got burned and teary and my nose felt like it got burned as well. I have no idea that the heck that stuff is, but it did taste like shit. But I actually finished the whole plate with some bread to get that taste outta the way. That has got to be the nastiest thing I've ever ate in a cafe. While we were leaving Paris, on the parking lot entrance, we saw some white dude punch this other guy on the face and that knocked the shit outta him and he fell to the floor! That was our highlight on the night! Haha. It was dope! Then when we got back to our room, I slept near the TV while the TV was still on cuz those "scary stories" were still in my head. Haha.
Sunday:
Next morning, we all got up and got ready to head back home. Before that, we went to Rio to grub at the Carnival Buffet which cost almost $20 per person! But it was pretty much worth it though. We stayed at Rio for a while to just check out the arcades and stuff like that. Then we were off to go home... We had to go to San Diego to drop off Riz and Kat because they didnt have a ride home. On the road, we were listening to some pop music, some Nsync stuff to be exact, and Beee's got some remix to those songs. Haha. Its some Master Movements remix. Then there was some madd traffic. Then finally, we got to San Diego and dropped off Riz and Kat. We went inside their house just to chill for a little short while, then we were off again. Then I finally got home. Altogether, we were on the road for 9 HOURS!! From around 4:30 to 12:45...
This trip was probably the best trip I've ever been to. Its not the place we went to or anything, but its the people I was with. Being with those people like Beee, Ai, Riz and Kat made the trip really dope. Going on road trips and having good company is the dopest part. I hope to go on another trip just like this one... someday....
