A little different in this new update, seeing as this is my BIO im gonna kinda give a little diddy about myself seeing as nothing super interesting has happened to me lately.
So im George as you should well know and Ive been playing bass for a little over 2 years now or so. I play a Samik no name bass with a 25 watt fender amp... i know its not much but it gets the job done and besides why buy an amp for shows when i can borrow peoples who have already spent the money.
I was originally just a vocalist, and by that i mean crazy ass screamer who just goes insane but that didnt work because no one in my school is cool enough to start a hardcore/metalcore band. So i figured, well hell no one plays bass why dont i give it a swing. Bought a bass and went directly from the store to my first band practice. It litterall took me one night (the night before i bought my bass) to find a band in need of a bassist.
Im a huge fan of thrashmetal but i have a very broad outlook on music. My favorite bands in my most common genres would have to be like Slayer and Soulfly. A band called Five Pointe 0 which NO ONE has ever heard of cept my good friend mark. But im also a sap for some good acoustics like Jack Johnson, John mayer, and a local band called Next Station.
Im also a bit of a punk kid, more mainstream punk than anything though cause i havent really been introduced to punk formally yet. A little OLD greenday like off Dookie and Nimrod and Kerplunk. But i love going to the local punk shows, not the screamy hardcore scene kid shows but the "I HATE GOVERNMENT AND DONT KNOW HOW TO PLAY AN INSTRUMENT AND IM GOING TO SHOW IT ON STAGE" kinda shows. They are really fun and the atmosphere around then is just too cool.
Im also in a couple of other bands at the momemt. I finally rallied up a bunch of friends to form a metalcore band of which im fronting with my screams. And im in an techno band with one friend of mine in which we use no instruments besides our mouths. Thats right, its gonna be amazing, the cd has already been titled "why does my life feel like one long acid trip" im sure ull never find it in store. No more room im out, later. |
