Up On the Roof

At some point during our time in Moose Jaw, we (Tina and I) discovered that we could really easily climb up onto the roof of our Katimavik house.

As soon as it was warm out, we (all of us) spent alot of time hanging out up there. One day there was about 4 of us up there, and somehow we had started singing songs. The four of us were singing lean-on-me at the top of our lungs when we heard noises from below... our new neighbour was out in his backyard bbq'ing. Three of us stopped singing, really embarressed, while Amber, the shy one in our group readily introduced us all.

Another memorable roof moment... one day, our project leader out of town, we were supposed to have a workshop on nutrition or something equally exciting. Unbeknowst to us, the workshop had been cancelled. Nearly all of our group however, decided that we would just hang out on the roof, "hiding" from the unknowing facilators. We spent nearly 2 hours on the roof laughing and watching the beautiful prairie sunset before we realized (to our great dissapointment) that there would be no workshop that evening.
