On July 14th 2005 Briana, Mallory, Bobby and I traveled to Marlboro to see this alleged Slaughter House. We found the road formerly know as Allen Rd. really easily after asking a guy doing yard work along boundary road. There was a chain link fence at the entrance to the road/driveway with a hole cut in the bottom where other explorers had made their way through. We walked down the road a little bit and came across the first of two houses that the workers who had allegedly been murdered had lived in. It was falling down and pretty much gutted with grafiti every where, the second house further down the road proved a bit more erie, we were able to get upstairs and the whole house had a spooky feel to it. We walked a while down the road and finally came to the slaughter house. Of course our imaginations were racing and we all heard different noises. The whole building was very creepy, some creative vandals wrote in red on the wall "I see you" decorating it with red hand prints and slashes, deffinitly adding to the already spooky atmosphere. Inside the building was a very large door with the words "Death Room" written on it, according to legend this is where the farmer killed one of the workers. Very spooky. Where the animals were kept was dirty and still smelt like a barn, it was easy to imagine pigs filling the stalls. On our way back down the road Mallory was spooked by a glimpse of a "pig" which turned out to be two metal axils to a large container, both of them bearing an uncanny resembalance to pigs. We reached the end of the road to see it stop abruptly, covered with trees, we all got nervous until we realized we had come out the otherside of the house to get to that road, and the origional one was a few steps through the woods, like I said, overactive imaginations. We returned to the car safely and sat down to have some water and reflect, I made the observation that I hadn't found any orbs or anything and at that moment two weird spots of fog appeared in my front window. Coincidence? Either way, with the windows up or down, they remained there until we left boundary road. I really enjoyed the Slaughter House and if it wasn't so far away I'd visit it at night, when I imagine it would be alot better, it was still great in the day, especially since we were breaking in Mallory and Briana, congratulations to them on a successful first ghost hunt!
