At some point early in the summer my sister Briana and I went down the road to an old barn that we had driven past the eight years we've lived here and never really saw. I never posted a site for the barn, only pictures, because there was never a story behind it, just me dragging my little sister to some old building one boring day. But luckily enough I was given the story behind it by my friend Matt Shea...
Apparently a driveway on the hill behind the barn used to lead to a butcher's shop. The picture of the house from my photos is where he lived and the barn is where he stored his meat. After he died the butcher's shop was sold to the Shea family and they made it their house until it was bulldozed in the 50's. "the barns that are on the top of that little hill belonged to my grampa untill we sold them in 1981 and in the floor of the barns there are 3 motorcycles because when my grampa's dad poured the concrette he put his motorcycles in there because he was tired of getting hurt on them" Thanks to Matt I now know some history behind the barn.
