So here you have it - my Vanessa Carlton/Michelle Branch song :P (as suggested by a good buddy). The first verse makes reference to an actual semi-relationship that I had, where both the lady and I had obviously fallen for each other, but instead of letting ourselves be the first admit to it, we played games of charm and never let ourselves get close... and the rest of the song goes off on tangents about a fictional relationship :). The lady in question and I are still friends, good ones even, who have let each other grow open. :D
