Personal History:

Teal'c was the son of the First Prime of Cronus, but when Cronus killed his father, Teal'c vowed to revenge his father's death. So, Teal'c became the First Prime of Cronus' emeny, Apophias. Teal'c served loyaly for many years under Apophias, even though his mentor, Bray'tak, who was a former First Prime of Apophias taught Teal'c that the Goa'uld were false gods. When Apophias and Teal'c went through to the Tau'ri planet and took a possible host, they were followed not long after by a group from the Tau'ri called SG-1. When SG-1's CO, Colonel Jack O'Neill told Teal'c he could save the large group of people because they were all going to be killed, Teal'c believed him and betrayed Apophias and joined SG-1. Teal'c fought with SG-1 for five years, and helped also. After the original SG-1 retired, Teal'c left the SGC and returned to the Jaffa Resistance with his son and mentor.
