Bradley Aaron Thomas was born on July 4th in 1964 in Seal Beach, California to Adam and Jayn Thomas. Brad was the oldest son and child. The Thomas' had two boys, Brad and Ben. They grew up in Seal Beach and when it came time for Brad to go off to college he ended up getting a scholarship to go to Minnesota State University. He met his wife while struggling through a chemistry class. Brad and Amber fell in love and later married. He and Amber's first daughter and child, Cinnabar Addisyn Thomas, was born on September 26, 1985. A year later their second child was born, Cambria Annabeth Thomas, was born on October 2, 1986.

After graduating with his MD, Brad enrolled in the Navy and he and Amber moved to Bethesda, Maryland where Brad worked at Bethesda Naval Hospital. He was then seperated from Amber for several months while he served aboard the USS Ronald Reagan. The time Brad spent on the carrier had been hard. He had hated being away from not only Amber, but his two young girls. He wrote them regularly and tried to make the best of his term on the carrier.

In 1993 he was transfered to the Great Lakes Naval Training Center in Illinois for two years. Charmiane Alison Thomas was born on August 5, 1993. Although moving with now three children was hard on them, Amber didn't seem to let Brad give up the Navy, and Brad appreciated it more than he could ever tell her. The Navy had become like a big family to him. He liked being able to take care of families of fellow officers along with fellow officers...it was like being part of something bigger than just himself.

From 1995 through 1998 he was stationed at San Diego Naval Medical Center in California before they he was reassigned to Pearl Harbor. The Thomas' ended up in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii where their fourth child, Clover Alexandra Thomas, was born. The family remained there for six years and all four kids became /very/ used to living there. Brad /and/ Amber were offered positions in Colorado Springs /together/, which was the only time where Amber was guaranteed a job /with/ him which made the whole move so much better. The girls - well Addi and Anna - had had issues with the move since they had really become comfortable living in Hawaii and didn't want to move again. Ali and Alex on the other hand where thrilled. Once reaching their new assignment in Colorado Springs, Colorado at Cheyenne Mountain the whole family was taken to see the general. At the SGC he and his family were briefed on the Stargate Program and the Genesis Project. They were given a chance to go to the offworld colony and they accepted it and are now currently Genesis Colonists.

When the Thomas family moved from their warm beaches in Hawaii to another planet in 2004, the older girls seemed quite shocked with the lack of civilization. Brad and Amber had been thrilled that they would be both working together and the whole scope of the Stargate Program and the Genesis Project. Brad was assigned as the Assistant Chief Medical Officer of the colony. Though, there was little medical staff on the colony, he and Chandra had been able to mostly maintain it. Even after their eventful entrance when alien werewolf-like creatures had invaded the planet during a terrential downpour and then an alien vessel had crashlanded on top of everything...it was still a good posting.

Even with family troubles, his older two daughters terrorizing the younger two, Brad and Amber had been able to keep their family together. Brad had made a couple friends, and had ended up becoming very close with the infirmary staff and he even thought maybe more so than those friends would like. He was very protective of them professionally and personally.
