Personal History:

Amber was born Amber Lynn Hudson to Mary and John Hudson in Grand Rapids, Minnesota. She was their only child, because her mother had Multiple Sclerosis and was unable to have anymore children after Amber. She had a really happy childhood and when it was time for her to go off to school she wanted to stay fairly close to home, so she applied and was accepted to Minnesota State university where she pursued a Masters in Chemistry. While there she met Brad in a chemistry class they shared. They totally fell in love and got married. She stayed with him while he finished his MD after she had already recieved her degree. She traveled with him when he joined the navy and they started a family together. They now have four beautiful (if the older ones are drama queens..) daughters. Finally having a fairly stable home set up in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii they had their fourth daughter, and had been living there for about six years and had become very accustomed to a set pattern in life (which didn't involve moving every year or two). Then Brad was offered a position in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The good, and unusual, thing about this was that Amber had been guarenteed a job there also, which overjoyed them both. After arguing with the two drama queens about moving, they finally arrived at the Cheyenne Mountain AF Base in Colorado and were informed about the Genesis Colony, when they were offered the chance to live there and happily (except the drama queens) accepted.
